Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons following the school's curriculum guidelines
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and development
- Use a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to different learning styles
- Evaluate and review student progress and provide constructive feedback to facilitate further improvement
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching methods and materials
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behavior
- Participate in staff development activities and stay updated with current educational practices and technologies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science Education or related field
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification
- Proven experience teaching Science at the primary or secondary level
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and inspire students to achieve their full potential
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students
- Commitment to continuous professional development and self-improvement
