About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Sourcing Manager to join our team at Sony Pictures Entertainment. As a key member of our Global Procurement department, you will play a critical role in driving strategic sourcing initiatives and delivering value to our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Lead Strategic Sourcing Strategies: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement sourcing strategies that drive cost savings, process improvements, and supplier excellence.
  • Business Intelligence and Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Develop and maintain operational knowledge of market rates and trends.
  • Spend Analytics and Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze large data sets to identify trends and opportunities for cost savings. Develop and maintain accurate and useful business intelligence.
  • RFx and Supplier Management: Develop and manage RFx processes, including bid evaluation and supplier selection. Manage external supplier relationships and monitor agreement expirations for renewal.
  • Negotiations and Contract Management: Develop and lead negotiation processes to secure optimal value and minimize financial and business risk exposure. Draft and manage contracts, including scope of work, service level agreements, and other business terms.
  • Trusted Advisor and Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including business partners and suppliers. Provide strategic advice and support to drive business outcomes.
Requirements
  • 4-6 years of corporate procurement/strategic sourcing experience.
  • Experience in negotiating agreements in multiple regions, including the UK, US, Europe, and Asia Pacific.
  • Experience drafting master agreements and Statements of Work (SOWs).
  • Track record of delivering significant and measurable value in a large, complex, and fast-paced organization.
  • Strong category management knowledge, including opportunity identification, spend analytics, sourcing strategy, project management, RFx processes, contract negotiation, supplier benchmarking, contract compliance, and procure-to-pay processes.
  • Familiarity or subject matter expertise in one or more relevant sourcing categories, including Facilities Management, Construction, Corporate Services, and/or Logistics.
  • Strong MS Office Suite skills, including Intermediate to Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, Vlookups, Charts/Graphs). BI software experience is a plus.
  • Experience with Ariba and SAP preferred.
  • Experience in Media and Entertainment, or Technology-based industries preferred.
