Job Description:

The Asda Pest Control Technician plays a crucial role in maintaining a pest-free environment within retail stores and distribution centers.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. To identify and manage pest infestations, preventing damage to property and products.
  2. To conduct regular inspections and implement effective solutions to control pest populations.
  3. To respond promptly to emergency call-outs and provide support to colleagues and clients.
  4. To maintain accurate records and reports, communicating effectively with stakeholders.
  5. To build strong working relationships with colleagues and clients, promoting a positive image of City Facilities Management.
  6. To stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, attending training courses as necessary.

Requirements:

  1. GCSE standard qualifications.
  2. Royal Society of Health Certificate in Pest Control or British Pest Control Association Diploma's Part 1 and 2.
  3. Bird proofing work experience.
  4. Fumigation services expertise.
  5. Proficiency in PC software.
  6. Experience within the pest control industry.
  7. Retail industry background.

Working Conditions: The successful candidate will work primarily within retail stores and distribution centers, with occasional overnight stays required.

Salary Range: £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience.
