About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our Preston-based main contractor. As an estimator, you will play a crucial role in the success of our projects, working closely with our site teams and clients to deliver high-quality results.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, with experience in the new build and refurbishment sectors. A good understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs is essential, as well as excellent estimation skills.

The salary for this role is £50,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.

In addition to your technical skills, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders.

  • Prepare accurate and detailed estimates for projects across various sectors;
  • Collaborate with site teams and clients to deliver high-quality results;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors;
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety protocols and regulations;
  • Contribute to the development of company policies and procedures.
