We are seeking a seasoned Construction Estimator to join our team at the Russell Taylor Group. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all contract timescales are met by the project team. Your expertise in CEMAR and NEC will be invaluable in administering contracts and leading reviews of compensation events.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of contract management and a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. You will also possess excellent communication skills and be able to liaise with clients and stakeholders effectively.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that offers a competitive salary of £65,000 - £75,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a generous salary, you will also receive hybrid working arrangements, allowing you to balance your work and personal life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all contract timescales are being met by the project team (management of CEMAR)
  • Administer contract in accordance with scope and terms/conditions
  • Lead review of compensation events
  • Lead assessment of application for payment and forecast to completion
  • Administer CEMAR at the weekly Early Warning meeting
  • Liaise with Client CEMAR Superuser for access/delegation/user queries
  • Prepare Defined Cost audit queries for the Auditor

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Contract Management such as NEC
  • Familiarisation with CEMAR
  • Support of Early Warnings and compensation events
  • Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
