UK Equities Portfolio Manager Opportunity

This is a great chance for a highly motivated and experienced UK Portfolio Manager with a track record of outperformance in both UK mid and large-cap Stewardship investment to join one of the leading UK Equities teams in asset management.

About the Role:

We are looking to recruit a co-manager to work on the UK Equity portfolios. This person must have both UK mid and large-cap experience to be suitable for the portfolios in question.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience as a UK Portfolio Manager, with an attributable track record of outperformance against relevant benchmarks and peer groups
  • Extensive experience focused on UK Stewardship / Responsible Investment across mid and large cap stocks
  • Healthcare sector experience desirable
  • Disciplined portfolio construction skills and benchmark aware with strong financial skills including financial modelling and analysis capability
  • Experience marketing to institutional or retail clients

In this role you'll be 'Certified' under the Financial Conduct Authority / Prudential Regulation Authority's Senior Managers and Certification Regime (SMCR). This means that we'll need to complete some regulatory background checks on you before you take up your role and we'll need to ask you some questions on an annual basis to make sure you remain 'fit and proper' and competent to carry out your role.
