Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced UK Equities Portfolio Manager to join our team at Aviva. As a key member of our UK Equities team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of UK mid and large-cap stocks, with a focus on sustainable and responsible investment practices.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned portfolio manager to join a leading asset management company and contribute to the success of our UK Equities team. You will work closely with our team of experienced investment professionals to identify and invest in high-growth companies that align with our sustainable investment approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of UK mid and large-cap stocks, with a focus on sustainable and responsible investment practices.
  • Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify high-growth companies that align with our sustainable investment approach.
  • Work closely with our team of experienced investment professionals to develop and implement investment strategies.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, providing regular portfolio updates and performance reports.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and developments, and make recommendations for portfolio adjustments as needed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a portfolio manager, with a proven track record of outperformance in UK mid and large-cap stocks.
  • Extensive experience in sustainable and responsible investment practices, with a strong understanding of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) factors.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed investment decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues.
  • Strong financial skills, including financial modeling and analysis.
