Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced UK Equities Portfolio Manager to join our team at Aviva. As a key member of our UK Equities team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of UK mid and large-cap stocks, with a focus on sustainable investment and responsible stewardship.

About the Role:

This is a great opportunity for a motivated and experienced portfolio manager to join a leading UK Equities team in asset management. You will work closely with our UK and Global equity teams to leverage our significant resources and expertise, and will be responsible for generating investment ideas and managing a portfolio of UK mid and large-cap stocks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a portfolio of UK mid and large-cap stocks, with a focus on sustainable investment and responsible stewardship.
  • Work closely with our UK and Global equity teams to leverage our significant resources and expertise.
  • Generate investment ideas and manage a portfolio of UK mid and large-cap stocks.
  • Develop and implement a sustainable investment strategy that aligns with Aviva's values and goals.
  • Collaborate with our research team to stay up-to-date on market trends and developments.
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including our investment committee and other portfolio managers.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience as a UK Portfolio Manager, with a track record of outperformance against relevant benchmarks and peer groups.
  • Strong knowledge of sustainable investment and responsible stewardship practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
