Key Responsibilities
  • Transport patients to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times.
  • Build rapport with patients and their families, providing emotional support and reassurance as needed.
  • Assist patients with mobility issues, providing physical support and assistance as required.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and transportation.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient transportation, including arrival and departure times, and any notable incidents or issues.
Requirements
  • Valid UK driving license and a good driving record.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
  • Physical stamina to lift and assist patients as needed.
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Enhanced DBS check and a satisfactory medical examination.
