We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ambulance Care Assistant to join our team at EMED Group. As a key member of our patient transport team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of patients to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation of Patients: Safely transport patients to and from medical appointments and healthcare facilities, adhering to strict protocols and guidelines.
  • Patient Care: Provide high-quality patient care, including lifting, securing, and assisting patients in and out of the ambulance.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and transportation.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective patient transportation, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Compassion and Empathy: Demonstrate a high level of compassion and empathy when interacting with patients and their families.
  • Effective Communication: Possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals.
  • Physical Fitness: Be physically fit and able to lift, secure, and assist patients in and out of the ambulance.
  • Teamwork: Demonstrate a strong ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • DBS Check: Pass an Enhanced DBS check, funded by the company.

  • Competitive Salary: £22,684 per annum, based on 38 hours per week, with additional overtime paid at £11.48 per hour.
