Smart DCC is seeking an experienced Senior Category Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement transformation, you will be responsible for building and implementing a category strategy that drives value for our organization and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a category strategy that aligns with our business objectives and ensures compliance with our procurement policies.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with C-Suite executives and suppliers to create and implement a commercial plan that delivers value to our organization.
  • Accountable for delivering a step change in commercial cost for the category, measured in year-on-year efficiency and economic improvements.
  • Provide commercial thought leadership and supplier market insight to drive breakthrough thinking and innovation within our organization.
Requirements:
  • Experience in creating and implementing category strategies, particularly in IT Services, ESG, and commercial lifecycle management.
  • Dynamic and forward-thinking self-starter with a good working knowledge of all aspects of the commercial lifecycle.
  • Ability to drive performance and best-practice procurement within a changing and evolving environment.
