About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Global Category Manager to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic initiatives within the department, managing global categories and strategy, and ensuring effective communication across various teams and departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the BPO category, developing and implementing strategic initiatives to drive business growth and improve procurement processes.
  • Manage global categories and strategy, ensuring alignment with company objectives and industry regulations.
  • Oversee the negotiation and management of contracts, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Identify and manage risks within the supply chain, ensuring the company's reputation and interests are protected.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including procurement teams, suppliers, and senior management.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in category management, with a strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to manage a team and drive business growth.
  • Strong negotiation skills, with experience in contract management and supplier relationship development.
  • Proficiency in risk management and compliance, with a strong understanding of industry regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers.
