Senior Category Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Category Manager to join our team at SharkNinja. As a key member of our commercial team, you will be responsible for driving and optimizing commercial performance of a portfolio of products under Shark-Ninja Brands.
Key Responsibilities:- Define product assortment, pricing, and promotional strategies to maximize category performance.
- Coordinate with product development teams to guide new SKU introductions and discontinuations.
- Conduct weekly, monthly, quarterly category performance reviews and market analysis to identify growth opportunities and potential risks.
- Utilize data analytics tools to track category performance at account level and drive decisions on sales and marketing tactics.
- Manage inventory levels to balance supply with demand and minimize obsolescence.
- Develop and oversee long-term and short-term promotional plans to drive category sales and profitability.
- Monitor the effectiveness of promotional activities and work with sales and marketing to proactively adjust strategies as and when needed.
- Work closely with sales, marketing, supply chain to ensure alignment and execution of category plans.
- Track and report on category financial performance.
- 5+ years of experience in category or commercial management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to think strategically and critically about the best course of action to achieve desired objectives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and coordinate cross-functional teams.
- A driven individual who thrives on balancing multiple moving pieces simultaneously without letting go of any of the detail.
- Ability to think strategically and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Problem-solving and initiative.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at various levels.
- Ability to travel as needed.
