Key Role in Digital Finance

As a key member of the JD Group's finance team, this position plays a crucial role in overseeing end-to-end finance operations for the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports, including the production of monthly P&Ls and Balance Sheets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Reporting: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the business operations and related financials, producing high-quality financial reports that meet the needs of stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing clear and concise explanations of financial performance and position.
  • Team Management: Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and resources to meet their responsibilities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to procedures and controls, ensuring that they are aligned with the Group's financial controls program.
  • Ad-Hoc Projects: Support the Head of Finance with ad-hoc projects and requests, demonstrating a proactive and flexible approach to meeting the needs of the business.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Qualified CIMA/ACA/ACCA accountant with PQE experience.
  • Experience: Proven experience in management accounting, with a strong understanding of financial reporting and analysis.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders and influence business decisions.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience of Oracle Financials and TM1 an advantage.
