Your new company is a highly ambitious and rapidly growing financial service SME based in Bury.
About the RoleIn this Financial Controller role, you will lead and develop the finance function to deliver detailed and timely financial information to senior stakeholders, including the board. This information will cover management accounts, KPI's, risk reporting, and any other ad hoc reporting supporting the senior management team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and develop the finance function to deliver high-quality financial information to senior stakeholders.
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including management accounts and KPI's.
- Develop and implement financial processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with non-financial colleagues to drive business-partnering and improve financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with financial standards and statutory reporting requirements.
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified.
- Experience in people development and performance management.
- Proven track record of managing a financial function and delivering management accounts to tight deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of financial standards and statutory reporting.
- Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics is beneficial.
