The Royal Aeronautical Society is a leading professional body dedicated to aerospace communities. As our Governance Executive, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the governance of our organisation meets the highest standards of charity governance.

This varied role requires close collaboration with our Head of Governance, supporting decision-making processes and providing high-quality secretariat support for meetings. You will also work closely with colleagues across the organisation to ensure consistency in governance practices.

Your key objectives will include:

  • Preparing agendas, minutes, and reports, and tracking actions from meetings
  • Supporting planning across the governance function, including forward planning of agendas and scheduling meetings
  • Acting as a communication point with other secretariats and maintaining records

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree calibre with relevant governance experience
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Excellent minute-taking skills with good attention to detail

We offer an attractive salary of up to £33,000 per year, along with benefits such as life insurance, private medical/dental insurance, and an attractive pension scheme.
