About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care and Support Professional to join our team at Southern Housing. As a Care and Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents, promoting their independence, rights, and inclusion in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver care and support services to residents, as identified in their person-centred care plan.
  • Practice within the criteria set out in the Care Quality Commission standards, ensuring residents have an up-to-date care plan and risk assessment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a seamless and effective care service.

Requirements

  • Hold 5 GCSE passes at grade C or above (or equivalent Grade 9-5) inc Maths & English.
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively.
  • Good written communication and numeracy skills.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Driving licence and access to a vehicle.
  • Able to work both as part of a team and also unsupervised.
  • Knowledge of personal boundaries.
  • Understanding of the requirements of CQC.
