Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aeronautical Engineering Training Specialist to join our team at the Ministry of Defence. As a Specialist Instructional Officer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality technical training to RAF engineers, focusing on aircraft mechanical disciplines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training programs for RAF Aircraft Mechanical Apprentices, enhancing their workplace performance and confidence.
- Conduct training needs assessments, create and deliver theoretical and practical curricula in a well-supported training environment.
- Perform training needs assessments, create and deliver training programs that meet the needs of RAF engineers.
- Work collaboratively with the Mechanical Training Manager to ensure effective training delivery and student outcomes.
Requirements
- Level 3 General Engineering qualification (with skills transferable to AE mechanical).
- Desirable: Level 3 Aeronautical Engineering (AE) Mechanical qualification.
- Desirable: CertEd (or higher) teaching/training qualification.
