  • Develop and implement effective communication systems to ensure seamless collaboration between the kitchen and front-of-house teams.
  • Lead the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new restaurant staff members, focusing on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members, identifying areas for improvement and growth.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and execute marketing initiatives, promotions, and special events that drive customer traffic and revenue.
  • Ensure adherence to financial targets and budgets, optimising costs and expenses while maintaining high service standards.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, customer preferences, and competitors, making recommendations to improve the restaurant's performance and customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, promoting a culture of excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming dining area, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth food preparation and delivery, meeting high quality standards.
  • Resolve customer complaints and concerns effectively, ensuring a positive resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to optimise efficiency and quality of service.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Restaurant General Manager or in a similar management role within the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong customer service orientation and ability to handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with staff and customers.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritise responsibilities.
