This is a challenging opportunity for a skilled Technical Safety and Risk Engineer to join our team at Technip Energies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting Technical Safety and Risk studies, working closely with our Study Manager and collaborating with our Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Technical Safety and Risk assessments and analysis based on regulatory requirements, client standards, and drivers.
- Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to ensure the safety and reliability of our assets and facilities.
- Collaborate with clients, marketing, and business development teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Represent Technip Energies in industry working groups and contribute to the development of industry standards and best practices.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Relevant engineering degree and experience in Technical Safety, Risk, and Loss Prevention or RAM studies.
- Proven track record of participating in and leading formal safety workshops, including HAZID, HAZOP, SIL/LOPA, and risk-based design.
- Experience in executing risk studies, including QRA, FERA, and EERA, and risk-based design, including ALARP demonstration.
- Understanding of UK regulatory framework and Safety Case/COMAH development.
- Desire to grow in a broad project setting, utilizing a creative approach.
- Some understanding of Functional Safety.
- Experience with PHAST, Flaresim, BowtieXP, and Pipenet.
- Experience in CCUS, Hydrogen, and Wind.
