Job Title: Energy and Chemicals Risk Engineer

Our client, a leading player in the insurance risk sector, is seeking an experienced Chemical or Mechanical Engineer to join their London office. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating plant condition and integrity, analyzing loss prevention and mitigation issues, and conducting software-based desktop risk assessments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluation of plant condition and integrity
  • Analysis of loss prevention and mitigation issues and opportunities
  • Software-based desktop risk assessments
  • Projecting and quantifying interruptions to supplier and customer agreements and material movements around major multi-unit sites

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience of COMAH regulated operations and production, as well as exposure to asset integrity evaluation and management, operational safety, plant engineering, and maintenance. Foreign language skills, particularly in Arabic and French, would be an asset. The role offers a unique blend of routine engineering surveys and business interruption reviews, making it an exciting opportunity for a skilled engineer looking to take their career to the next level.
