About the Role
As the industry shifts towards cleaner energy and sustainable practices, ICIS is at the forefront of supporting businesses in navigating the challenges of energy transition, plastic circularity, and sustainability. We are seeking a forward-thinking consultant to join our team and help accelerate the success of our strategy and transactions consulting team.
In this role, you will collaborate with industry leaders and financial institutions to influence the future of the energy and chemical industries. Your strong understanding of the refining and chemical industries and passion for driving sustainable change will be invaluable assets to our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver consulting projects that meet and exceed profitability targets by researching energy and chemical value chains and developing analysis for market, pricing, competitiveness, and economic assessments.
- Develop and maintain consulting and analytical models to support business development and proposals.
- Support the ICIS brand by delivering high-value work and promoting ICIS insights externally.
- Collaborate with other functions in ICIS as part of project delivery and maintain a fundamental working knowledge of the ICIS data, analytics, and tools.
Requirements
- A degree in Chemical Engineering or a relevant degree, with knowledge of the oil refining/petrochemical sector and market fundamentals.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to rationalise, solve, and communicate answers to complex problems.
- Organisational and project management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a high-performance team.
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on MS Excel and PowerPoint.
