SEMH Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Long-term Teachers Ltd. As a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will be working closely with a Year 5 pupil, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality support to the pupil, focusing on their SEMH needs
  • Develop and implement tailored intervention programs to address the pupil's SEMH requirements
  • Collaborate with the pupil's teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective support plan
  • Provide emotional support and stability to the pupil, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children with SEMH needs
  • Knowledge of behavioral management strategies and SEN/SEMH requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances
