Electrical Engineer Role

Thorpe Park Resort is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our ride systems, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair electrical systems, including ride control equipment and PLCs
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and certification programs
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic skills and knowledge of AC/DC drives and motors
  • Work in a heavy industrial/automated environment, including FMCG, manufacturing, logistics, airport, or theme park settings

Requirements:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Thorough understanding of PPM and certification programs
  • Ability to read and use engineering drawings
  • Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of PLCs, including Siemens, Omron, Allen Bradley, and Mitsubishi
