Electrical Engineer Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at Thorpe Park Resort. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our ride systems, ensuring they are safe and efficient.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair electrical systems and ride equipment
  • Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) on ride systems
  • Diagnose and repair faults using programmable logic controls (PLCs)
  • Work with the engineering team to plan and execute maintenance projects

Requirements:

  • Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • Experience of working with PLCs and electrical systems
  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work independently
  • Knowledge of AC/DC drives and their associated motors or pumps
