About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Field Sales Executive to join our team at Jewson. As a Field Sales Executive, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with customers, identifying new business opportunities, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and maintain relationships with customers to increase sales and revenue
  2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, lead follow-ups, and customer interactions
  3. Support customers with the onboarding of their new account and ensure they start and continue to spend
  4. Target dormant and lapsed accounts to reactivate them
  5. Develop trusted relationships with a portfolio of customers to maintain and improve profitability
  6. Acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements and expand relationships by continuously proposing solutions that meet their needs
  7. Work with all functions and branch teams to ensure all opportunities are leveraged
  8. Comply with all EHS policies and procedures when on site

Requirements

  1. A full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points
  2. Strong direct sales skills and commercial focus
  3. Current knowledge of building materials and the current construction market would be beneficial
  4. Proven experience in customer-facing business and a proactive sales and customer-focused environment delivering results
