About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team at Europlan Group. As a key member of our civil engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality engineering solutions for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform structural design and analysis calculations using governing codes and standards, engineering formulas, skills, and experience.
  • Carry out surveying, leveling of the site, and foundations, and drafting civil engineering drawings.
  • Supervise on-site installation is as per design (checking the foundation, ground levels, etc).
  • Responsible for schematic layouts and providing drawings for designs, incorporating sketches by designers/drafters.
  • Provision of technical expertise, leadership, and supervision of the same discipline staff on Projects.
  • Ensure that Engineering is carried out in accordance with procedures and contractual requirements.
  • Approval of all technical decisions made by personnel under his/her supervision.
  • Assist in the development of engineering techniques in the Civil Group and bring to the attention of the Discipline Chief Engineer inadequacies in the group's capability for present and future projects.
  • Prepare technical aspects of contract documentation for civil and structural works.
  • Provide technical input to tender clarification and evaluation work.
  • Ensure all members of the team reporting to him/her liaise and cooperate with all members of the Project team.
  • Report to the Project Management and the Discipline Chief Engineer on general progress including any problems, technical or otherwise, particularly regarding man-hours, program milestones, and resources.
  • Preparation of cost and man-hour estimates for proposals.
  • Review the scope of work and specifications for proposals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in civil engineering, ideally in a similar sector.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SAP2000).
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Commitment to safety, sustainability, and delivering high-quality results.
