**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled Data Abstractor to join our team at Intermountain Healthcare.

The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in healthcare data abstraction, auditing, and monitoring, as well as a strong understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Abstract accurate and timely clinical data from health information records
  • Audit and monitor data for quality and integrity
  • Collaborate with Clinical Programs and Services to maintain database integrity
  • Complete data validation processes and cleanup
  • Maintain certifications pertinent to applicable databases

Requirements:

  • Three years of healthcare work experience
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
  • Database registry certification may be required depending on specialty
