At Leonardo, we are seeking a skilled Digital Systems Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of a comprehensive MBSE capability. Estimated Salary: £80,000 - £110,000 per annum.

We are looking for an experienced engineer who is passionate about Model-Based Systems Engineering and has a talent for solving complex problems. As a Digital Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in developing a digital engineering approach to support the development of a new 6th generation aircraft within the Global Combat Air Programme (GCAP).

You will be responsible for researching, designing, and developing complex electronic systems, products, and services for the global defence market. This includes supporting Digital Engineering transformation by working closely with our MBSE Lead to drive MBSE initiatives and deliver exceptional value to our key project stakeholders.

In this role, you will also have the opportunity to develop and deliver internal MBSE training, provide guidance to projects on MBSE activities and initiatives, and mentor and coach engineers in the application of MBSE best practice.

To be successful in this position, you will require an engineering-based degree or equivalent systems engineering experience. Electronic warfare domain knowledge is advantageous but not essential.

We are open to hiring candidates from various locations, including GB - Bristol - Coldharbour Lane and GB - Lincoln. This role offers hybrid working arrangements, allowing you to balance your work and personal life.
