Cybersecurity Consultant

Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join our team at esure. As a key member of our Security Operations team, you'll play a vital role in protecting our information systems and networks from security breaches and cyber threats.

Main Responsibilities

• Use security and network tools to identify and categorize incidents.

• Work with the SecOps team to contain and remediate security incidents, conduct post-incident analysis, and recommend preventive measures.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest intelligence on cybersecurity threats, including malware, ransomware, and phishing tactics, to pre-empt potential attacks.

• Contribute to developing security policies and runbooks, and assist in conducting regular audits to ensure compliance.

• Collaborate with service providers and other departments to ensure network, system, and data security.

Requirements

• A passion for cyber security and technology.

• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Windows, and Linux operating systems.

• Exposure to at least one programming/scripting language, e.g. Python.
