Order Fulfillment Specialist

We are seeking a talented Order Fulfillment Specialist to join our team in Cheltenham, UK. As a key member of our customer contract/order team, you will play a critical role in facilitating transactions and ensuring seamless order fulfillment.
The estimated salary for this position is £16-£17.50 per hour, reflecting the company's commitment to providing competitive compensation for top talent.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage order intake and process transactions efficiently and accurately, utilizing internal systems for data entry.
- Establish and maintain connections with customer portals and systems, facilitating communication and order management.
- Support forecasting, billing, and collection activities to drive business growth and improve cash flow.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, collaborating with operations to provide timely updates and resolutions.
- Engage in sales activities for assigned customers, leveraging your expertise to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
- Develop and implement an operational year plan for your department, focusing on process improvements and strategic objectives.
- Identify opportunities for enhancement and suggest improvements to products, processes, and procedures.
- Provide proactive support to the wider project management community, fostering collaboration and innovation.
- Collaborate with colleagues from various business units to achieve shared goals and objectives.
- Operate within predefined contracts and frameworks, exercising discretion to adapt to changing circumstances when necessary.
- Expedite orders as required, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or equivalent experience in a customer-facing role.
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience in sales administration or order processing, preferably within the aerospace manufacturing sector.
- Proficiency in using business systems, such as Oracle or SAP.
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize workload to meet customer demands.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Confidence in challenging the status quo and driving process improvements.
