About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our team at Devizes School. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our school sites, including Devizes School and Southbroom Infant School.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain the school sites, including grounds, buildings, and equipment.
  • Oversee the work of external contractors and ensure that all work is completed to a high standard.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure the long-term sustainability of our facilities.
  • Collaborate with the Financial Planning and Operations Lead to ensure effective budgeting and resource allocation.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A strong background in facilities management, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • High level of organizational and time management skills.
  • IOSH/NEBOSH qualification or willingness to obtain.
