Job Overview
Devizes School is seeking an exceptional Mathematician to lead our Mathematics Department. As Head of Mathematics, you will be responsible for inspiring and motivating students to achieve their best in Mathematics.
About the Role
We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced teacher with a passion for Mathematics, able to teach across all key stages and lead a team of enthusiastic teachers. Experience teaching to A level is advantageous but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging Mathematics curriculum for students
- Lead and manage the Mathematics Department, including staff development and performance management
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance Mathematics education across the school
- Monitor and evaluate student progress in Mathematics, identifying areas for improvement
