About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Deputy Manager to join our team at Nexter Ltd. As a key member of our nursery management team, you will play a vital role in supporting the delivery of exceptional childcare and education to our children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the management team in the day-to-day operations of the nursery, including staffing, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, staff, and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted regulations and standards, maintaining high levels of quality and safety.
  • Contribute to curriculum planning, participate in staff training, and help ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
Requirements
  • Level 3 qualification in childcare (minimum).
  • Leadership experience working in a nursery setting (minimum Room Leader or similar).
  • A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership potential and a desire to learn and grow.
  • Ofsted inspection experience.
