Sales Director for Prepared Categories

dunnhumby is the global leader in Customer Data Science, empowering businesses everywhere to compete and thrive in today's data-driven economy.

We're looking for a seasoned Sales Director to lead our efforts in the prepared categories across branded and own label products. As a key member of our team, you'll use your expertise to build robust and value-add propositions to monetize our data and insights.

You'll work closely with our customer success colleagues to network deep within our clients' businesses, understanding and building relationships with stakeholders and budget holders across disciplines.

A detailed knowledge of our tools and their value will be critical as you consultatively sell to clients with whom we have an existing business relationship, as well as new clients seeking data insights.

As a line manager, you'll oversee one colleague, providing coaching, leading by example, and best-in-class sales processes to support their development.

To succeed in this role, you'll require either account management/category experience gained in a Tesco-facing role or a track record of success in the insights sales space. Experience in the fresh/frozen category would be an advantage.

  • Experience in using data to influence users and senior stakeholders.
  • A strong understanding of the UK retail market and its current challenges/opportunities.
  • High numeracy skills and a structured approach to financial planning and reporting.
  • Line management experience and evidence of developing your people.

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at £60,000-£80,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
