Housing Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Housing Support Specialist to join our team and support individuals who have been homeless or are at risk of homelessness.

As a Housing Support Specialist, you will work with customers to develop their independence, achieve their goals, and maintain permanent independent accommodation.

Main Tasks:

  • Providing one-to-one support to customers to enhance their independence.
  • Developing and delivering activity programs to promote social interaction and skill-building.
  • Collaborating with external agencies to provide comprehensive support for customers' goals.
  • Assisting customers to secure permanent accommodation.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A passion for supporting people to reach their full potential.
  • The ability to empathize with customers' unique stories and adapt your approach accordingly.
  • A drive to see others achieve their goals and succeed.
  • Experience in support, care, or housing is an advantage but not necessary.
  • An Enhanced DBS check is required.

About the Salary

This role comes with a competitive salary of £24,299 per annum, plus a range of benefits including 34 days leave increasing to 39, a health cash plan, and over 800 high street discounts.
