About FitzRoy Services

FitzRoy services in Uckfield provide support to six adults with learning disabilities. As a Support Worker, you will join an established and caring team of support workers and managers, working in a fast-paced environment with a lot of activities and opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support individuals with their daily needs, including personal care and activities.
  • Encourage and enable individuals to participate in community activities, such as day services, social outings, and fundraising events.
  • Assist with transportation and mobility, using company vehicles.

Requirements

  • A full UK manual driving license is essential for this role.
  • Due to the requirements of the individuals we support, we are recruiting female Support Workers.

Benefits

  • Competitive hourly rate: £11.25 per hour weekdays and £12.38 weekends.
  • Overtime shifts: + £2.50 per hour.
  • Public holidays: time and a half or double time.
  • Sleep-ins: £50 per night.
  • 30 days holiday when you start.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our residents have access to the activities they choose to participate in. You will work a set pattern of morning and afternoon shifts, with a full-time contract of 37.5 hours (5 shifts a week). Weekend working is essential, which will be on a rotating basis.
