About the Role


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEMH Teaching Assistant to join our team at a primary school in High Wycombe. The ideal candidate will have experience working with students with SEMH needs and a strong understanding of the importance of providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment.



Key Responsibilities



  • Work closely with the Inclusion Manager to develop and implement strategies to support students with SEMH needs
  • Provide one-to-one support to students with SEMH needs, helping them to access the curriculum and develop their social, emotional, and mental health skills
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to plan and deliver lessons that meet the needs of students with SEMH needs
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting the well-being and resilience of all students


Requirements



  • Experience working with students with SEMH needs
  • Strong understanding of SEMH principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Passion for supporting the development of students with SEMH needs
