Head of Football Development

The Football Association is seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the development of football coaching and learning initiatives across England. As Head of Football Development, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-quality programs that enhance the skills and knowledge of coaches, players, and officials at all levels of the game.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the growth and development of English football. With a strong background in coaching, education, or a related field, you will bring expertise in program design, delivery, and evaluation, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
As a key member of the Football Association's team, you will work closely with stakeholders to identify emerging trends and best practices in football coaching and learning, and develop innovative solutions to address specific needs and challenges. Your ability to build partnerships, foster collaboration, and drive results will be essential in this role.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering high-quality coaching and learning programs that meet the needs of coaches, players, and officials at all levels of the game.
- Developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance the skills and knowledge of coaches, players, and officials.
- Fostering partnerships with national governing bodies, external educational institutions, and other stakeholders to promote collaboration and innovation.
We offer a competitive salary of £65,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including private medical cover, contributory pension scheme, and generous annual leave allowance.
