Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technical Support Specialist to join our team at Digital Waffle. This is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, utilizing the latest Microsoft technologies, and act as a crucial point of escalation from the first line of support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert technical support on the Microsoft technology stack, ensuring seamless operation of our IT systems.
  • Act as a point of escalation for complex technical issues from the first line support team, collaborating with other IT professionals to resolve incidents efficiently.
  • Diagnose and resolve software and hardware incidents, including operating systems and across a range of software applications, to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all solutions implemented, ensuring knowledge sharing and process improvement.
  • Contribute to the improvement of existing processes and procedures, driving efficiency and effectiveness in our IT operations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Technical Support Specialist, preferably in a Microsoft technology environment, with a strong understanding of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory, Exchange Server, and other Microsoft server technologies, with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with users and team members, with a valid driving license and passport for occasional travel and client interactions.
