Audit Officer Role

We are seeking a skilled Audit Officer to support the effective planning, conducting, and reporting of audits. As an Audit Officer, you will work closely with the Audit and Compliance Manager to ensure the provision of an efficient audit service to the Family Fund.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and complete monthly financial and systems audits, including checking finance prepared reconciliations, authorisations, payroll, and system changes.
  • Produce and send audit requests for receipts and/or confirmation of item delivery, and log and action receipts and confirmations.
  • Liaise with families, referrers, and Family Fund colleagues regarding audit-related enquiries.
  • Conduct audit checks relating to the grant delivery process to provide assurance that families are spending their awards as expected and key audit and awarding processes are operating effectively.
  • Assist with system testing and validation.
  • Assist with reported allegations of misuse or fraud, ensuring these are documented and reported.
Requirements:

Ideal candidates will have experience of working within auditing, although this is not essential. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills, we encourage you to apply.
