About the Role

The Clinical Lead is a key member of the Senior Leadership Team and will provide leadership and senior operations support on behalf of the Managing Director for all clinical services, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care. Working together with the senior leadership team, the post holder will contribute to the strategic development and growth of live-in care, with a specific focus on enabling expansion of our quality support to working-age adults in the community (including supporting people with life-long and life-limiting conditions).

Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will also play an important role in the development of the service, contributing towards commercial bids and raising the standards of training and frontline support to the people we serve. You will also be responsible for:

  • Line management of the Operational Support Supervisor (The Operations Support Team, provides the quality assurance function for the company)
  • Through clinical and professional leadership, grow the breadth of people that we support in the community, with a particular focus on expanding the quality of the support we are able to provide people with long-term chronic and life-limiting conditions (that are not age-related). This may also include palliative and end-of-life care.
  • To be the Designated Learning Lead for Agincare Live-in Care; this will be determining the training needs for the company to meet the needs of our workforce and the people we support

About You

You will have a thorough understanding of Health and Social Care and more specifically a passion for the provision of person-centered care. You will have extensive knowledge of CQC regulations and apply this and lead from the front as a member of the Senior Leadership team. You will be able to communicate at all levels, think strategically, and build and maintain effective working relationships with all. You will hold a relevant nursing qualification and maintain registration with the NMC.
