Homewares Buying Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Buying Assistant to join our team at Niche Recruitment Ltd. As a Buying Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Homewares Buyer in delivering a range of homewares products.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Senior Homewares Buyer with daily administrative tasks and activities
- Order, log, and return samples from suppliers
- Write engaging and well-crafted product descriptions
- Accurately record information on spreadsheets and manage paperwork relating to products selected for catalogues
- Resolve warehouse or customer queries regarding quality issues or additional information
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (specifically Excel)
- Office-based administrative experience
- A confident and articulate phone manner
- Strong communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- A full driving licence and own car
