Job Description

Deloitte is seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Delivery Manager to join our IT Business Services team in Central Business Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading multiple projects of varying complexity, building strong partnerships with business stakeholders, and championing the promotion of integrity in all endeavors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish governance and assurance, monitor progress, manage risks and issues, and ensure readiness for change.
  • Provide delivery reports, metrics, and measurements to business stakeholders.
  • Set an example of great Project Delivery Management, ensuring quality and attention to detail in communication and deliverables.
  • Regularly engage and build trust with the team and stakeholders.
  • Manage diverse teams within an inclusive team culture.
  • Provide delivery confidence by managing complex internal and external dependencies.
  • Manage changes in project scope, costs, resources, and timing within agreed governance and change control processes.
  • Own and engage in all stages of the agile development process.
  • Encourage and facilitate continuous improvement of the delivery team.
  • Act as a role model and mentor to motivate and aspire others to take positive action and accountability for their work.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience of applying a range of delivery/development life cycles.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong financial and commercial awareness and experience of managing budgets and resource utilization.
  • Value and outcome-driven with a positive "can-do" attitude.
  • Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, and controlling projects.
  • Experience in agile delivery methodologies and transitioning teams to agile ways of working.
  • Ability to work with geographically distributed teams.
