Job Opportunity: Care Manager for Complex Needs

£40,000 Salary + £1,200 Enhancement & £1,000 Joining Bonus

In this role as a Care Manager for Complex Needs, you will oversee a small cluster of Supported Living services in the Dover area. The successful candidate will have experience managing care and support for individuals with complex needs, developing personalized approaches to increase independence and promote social development.

About the Role:

  • You will be assigned to an operational 'patch' and will work closely with your designated Operations Manager to achieve outstanding care quality standards.
  • As a Care Manager, you will manage the care and support for approximately 6-12 supported individuals, each requiring around 1,000 hours of care per week.
  • You will develop and implement care plans that address the unique needs of each individual, focusing on breaking down barriers and integrating them into their local communities.
  • A Deputy Manager will support you with managerial tasks such as staff support, roster planning, and care plan updates.
  • You will have access to specialist resources within the organization, including an in-house PBS Practitioner, Quality & Compliance Manager, and HR Department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to the needs of each individual.
  • Manage a team of carers to provide high-quality care and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve outstanding care quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience in Adult Health and Social Care management.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
