Role Summary
We are seeking a skilled Fostering Social Worker to join our team in Gloucestershire, providing support and supervision to foster carers and helping to ensure the best possible care for vulnerable children.

About the Role
This full-time position offers flexible and hybrid working arrangements and a competitive salary up to £35 per hour on an Umbrella company basis. As a Fostering Social Worker, you will be responsible for supporting and supervising foster carers, running support groups, and helping with foster carer training. Regular reflective supervision and opportunities for learning and development are prioritized by managers in the team.

Responsibilities
- Support and supervise foster carers to ensure they provide the best possible care to meet the needs of vulnerable children
- Run support groups for foster carers
- Help with foster carer training
- Supervise 190 fostering households in the team
- Assist with identifying placements for children

Requirements
- Relevant Social Work Qualification
- Registration with Social Work England
- At least 6 months' experience of working in the UK as a registered social worker
- Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service or happy to apply for a DBS
- 3 years of referencing
- Driving license with access to a car
