About the Role:

We are recruiting an IT Incident and Problem Manager to join our team and contribute to delivering incident resolution. This is a dynamic role that requires a strong leader who can manage teams and drive Problem Management to reduce business risk through repeat incidents.

The successful candidate will have experience of acting within mature ITIL processes, evidence of managing small projects or implementing Service Improvement initiatives, and ITIL Service Lifecycle Certification. They will be able to take ownership of Major Incidents and ensure effective communication with stakeholders, while also driving Problem Management outputs to feed into other pipelines of work and processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage Major Incidents and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Drive Problem Management to reduce business risk through repeat incidents.
  • Ensure root cause analysis and preventative activities are tracked and reported via Post Incident Reviews.
  • Manage IT change and governance processes.
  • Deputise for the Head of Service and Infrastructure as required.

Requirements:
  • Experience of acting within mature ITIL processes.
  • Evidence of managing small projects or implementing Service Improvement initiatives.
  • ITIL Service Lifecycle Certification.
