Job Title: Sales Administrator
Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Sales Administrator to join our team at Vickerstock. As a Sales Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team with order processing, dispatch, and logistics coordination.
Main Responsibilities:
- Customer Account Management: Set up accounts, agree on credit terms with the Assistant Accountant/Financial Controller, and ensure accurate details are updated in DeFacto.
- Order Processing & Dispatch: Process orders, arrange dispatch and invoicing, manage van sales deliveries, and coordinate stock replenishment.
- Liaison with Warehouse & Logistics: Work closely with the Warehouse Team and liaise with haulage companies to ensure timely and complete order dispatch.
- Customer Service Excellence: Maintain proactive communication to support order fulfillment and manage customer queries, including credit control and payment follow-ups.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare month-end sales reports and aged debt analyses.
- Records Maintenance: Organize and index sales order and delivery notes for audit purposes.
- Reception & Support Duties: Provide reception cover and handle general inquiries as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum GCSE Grade C in Maths and English (or equivalent)
- Proven experience in Sales Administration
- Familiarity with credit control processes
- Experience within FMCG admin/sales admin department (desirable)
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong communication and customer-focused approach
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Team player with a proactive, self-motivated attitude
