Job Overview

This role is a temporary maternity cover position, offering a unique chance to take on leadership responsibilities within our Inclusion Team.

We are seeking a candidate with experience of working in schools with students who need support to engage in learning and proven leadership abilities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the school's Inclusion Team, working closely with our Deputy Head and SENDCo to ensure the delivery of high-quality interventions and alternative provisions.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead the school's Inclusion Team, ensuring effective management and coordination of interventions and alternative provisions.
  2. Work closely with the Deputy Head and SENDCo to develop and implement bespoke support strategies for students who require additional assistance.
  3. Operate as the school's Deputy Child Protection lead, supporting the Designated Child Protection Officer and others in safeguarding our students.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working in schools with students who need support to engage in learning.
  • Proven leadership abilities and the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • An understanding of child protection procedures and the ability to operate as a Deputy Child Protection lead.
