You will be responsible for creating an inclusive learning environment, providing tailored support to students, and working closely with teachers and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students.
Your Key Responsibilities- Supporting students with SEN across the curriculum, both in-class and through small group work.
- Implementing individualised learning plans to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Providing emotional and social support, helping students develop confidence and positive behaviour.
- Assisting the classroom teacher with lesson preparation and adapting resources to suit the needs of SEN students.
- Monitoring and tracking student progress and liaising with the SENCO and other staff to provide effective support.
We are looking for an exceptional SEN Teaching Assistant who possesses:
- Experience working in an educational setting, ideally as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role.
- A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach to supporting students with additional learning needs.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals.
- A genuine passion for supporting students to achieve their academic and personal best.
The salary for this position is £500 per week (Pro Rata), with the possibility of a contract until July 2025. In addition, we offer a range of benefits to support your career development and well-being.
